Dear Mr. President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences,

Dear friend and colleague,

We learned with great pain about the catastrophic human and material damages that caused the repeated earthquake of February 6 in the district Pasarcik of Kahramanmaraş region in eastern Turkey. The news that arrive to us day after day only increases our shock about this extraordinary calamity that struck the friendly Turkish people. We experience spiritually together with you with wounded hearts the news about fatal losses become known day by day and hour by hour.

We are close  and support you in this national disaster that hit the Turkish people by the capricious forces of nature. I convey to you the deepest feelings of sadness, of mine, of our academic body, and the community of Albanian scientists. We are convinced that you will find the inner strength and energy to face with confidence in the future this severe shock. Please convey our pain and support to academic colleagues and the entire Turkish scientific community and beyond, who are living without interruption with the disaster that struck you, as well as with the excellent solidarity that the whole world is showing at this critical moment with you.

Mësuam me dhimbje të madhe për dëmet katastrofale njerëzore dhe materiale që u shkaktuan nga tërmeti i përsëritur i 6 shkurtit në rrethin Pasarcik të rajonit Kahramanmaraş në Turqinë lindore.

Lajmet që na vijnë ditë pas dite vetëm sa na shtojnë tronditjen për këtë fatkeqësi të jashtëzakonshme që goditi popullin mik turk. Ne përjetojmë shpirtërisht bashkë me ju, me plagë në zemër, lajmet për humbjet fatale që janë bërë të njohura ditë pas dite e orë pas ore.

Jemi pranë e përkrah jush në këtë fatkeqësi kombëtare që goditi popullin turk prej forcave kapriçioze të natyrës.

Ju përcjell ndjenjat më të thella të pikëllimit të trupës sonë akademike dhe të bashkësisë së shkencëtarëve shqiptarë.

Jemi të bindur se ju do të gjeni forcën dhe energjinë e brendshme për të përballuar me besim në të ardhmen këtë tronditje të rëndë.

Ju lutemi përcilluni dhimbjen dhe besimin tonë kolegëve tanë akademikë dhe gjithë bashkësisë shkencore turke,  opinioneve që po jetojnë pa prerë me fatkeqësinë që ju goditi, si dhe me solidaritetin e shkëlqyer që e gjithë Bota po tregon në këtë moment kritik me ju.
